Global TIES & UniAndes co-host LEARN Methods Workshop in Bogota, Colombia

Last week, we co-hosted the LEARN Summer Methods Workshop with our partners, Universidad de Los Andes, bringing together early-career scholars and professors from across Colombia for five days of immersive training in psychometrics and measurement development.

From lectures, data practice, fun interactive activities, and group work, scholars strengthened their capacity to:
✅ Design research instruments relevant to their local settings
✅ Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of those instruments
✅ Refine tools to better capture learning variability in diverse contexts

By investing in research capacity and knowledge exchange, we’re helping grow a generation of scholars equipped to tackle the most pressing questions around learning variability in their own communities.
